Van Gaal retires
The former Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, Louis van Gaal, has announced he will retire.
65-year-old has had a very successful career as a coach, having served in top clubs in Spain, England, Germany and Holland.
“I had said that I wanted to retire since last year, but then I changed my decision,” said Van Gaal on Monday evening.
“Now I believe that there will be no turning back. Many things have happened in my family recently, and this was the reason for the final decision, “he said.
Van Gaal was referring to the loss of his son in law, who died recently, a few months after the Dutchman was replaced by Jose Mourinho on Manchester United in May of this year.
