Sead Kolasinac is reportedly being afforded the chance to move to the Premier League.
Everton offered a contract to Kolasinac, according to the Guardian’s Ed Aarons. The Bosnian defender’s pact with FC Schalke 04 expires in June. He’s among the Bundesliga’s best left-backs and would be able to join the Toffees on a free transfer.
Kolasinac is outshining David Alaba and Jonas Hector, and he scored the lone goal in Schalke’s 1-0 Bundesliga victory at FSV Mainz 05 in March. His drive and determination were epitomised by a text message he sent to Markus Weinzierl the day before the match in which he reiterated his desire to play despite a broken nose.
The 2014-15 Bundesliga season was a low point for Kolasinac. The Destroyer, as he is dubbed, missed almost the entirety of the campaign after rupturing a cruciate ligament. But under Weinzierl, he is fulfilling the potential that some feared he never would.
Chelsea, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid are all eyeing Kolasinac as well, reports talkSPORT.
