Juventus will be without the services of three veteran pieces for Tuesday’s vital Champions League trip to Lyon, with manager Massimiliano Allegri revealing that Mario Mandzukic, Giorgio Chiellini, and Claudio Marchisio will all sit out the clash at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
Mandzukic’s exclusion comes after the big Croatian striker sustained a “muscular strain in his right adductor region” during a training session, with tests to be conducted on the ailment in the coming days.
Chiellini continues to be hampered by a thigh problem, while Marchisio is still working his way back to full fitness after recovering from a torn ACL suffered in the latter stages of last season. The midfielder returned to the bench for the weekend win over Udinese, but didn’t partake in the contest.
With three spots to fill in the squad, Allegri has once again called up 16-year-old striker Moise Kean, the teenage phenom who got a spot on the bench for the aforementioned triumph over Italy’s other bianconeri side.

The full 20-man squad for Tuesday’s match is as follows:
“It was a shame to lose Mandzukic this morning. Chiellini is out but we don’t expect it to be for long,” Allegri said during Monday’s press conference.
Juventus, sitting atop Group H by virtue of a superior goal difference over Sevilla, will look to continue its winning ways in Europe’s showcase competition after brushing aside Dinamo Zagreb last time out.
